James took us on a lovely relaxing cruise off the stunning coastlines of Townsville and Magnetic Island and we took along our own platter box and drinks to enjoy as well.

Lovely lunch and afternoon sailing around the bay. We had to change our dates due to the weather and James was great in rescheduling to a convenient date. It was a relaxing arvo on the water.

Thanks Jimmy for a wonderful sunset sail with friends. We had a great time and were well looked after. Too windy and choppy to head out too far but still had a great time. We will definitely be back!

From start to finish, everything was handled with care and professionalism.Captain James and deckhand David were amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable, especially my mother, who was instantly put at ease by their friendly and attentive nature.The yacht was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere on board was calm and relaxing as we sailed along Ross Creek. We enjoyed a delicious grazing platter with cheese, crackers, salami roses, olives, and fresh fruit, complemented perfectly by sparkling wine.It was the perfect way to spend a lunch break, peaceful, scenic, and so well hosted. I can’t recommend Casual Fare Sailing highly enough for anyone wanting to unwind and experience Townsville from the water.Thank you so much.

Loved our sunset sail! 6 of us girlfriends went on the sunset sail to celebrate a special occasion and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Relaxed and enjoyable vibe, exactly what we wanted. We sat up the front of the boat chatting away whilst James and his decky sailed the boat at the back. BYO drinks and nibbles and a little speaker available for us to play our own music - 10/10! James was friendly, quiet and polite and great communicator. Felt very safe

We had a lovely experience. We felt extremely safe at all times. Beautiful views. Lovely company and plenty of laughs. If we were staying in the area we would certainly do the evening experience.

Highly recommend this experience. We all enjoyed the sun set views but the fun, jokes and laughs were the main attraction! I am going back next time I am up north!

We had the best afternoon put on the water with James and David. From booking to end of tour, the communication was great. They are great hosts as Dad said 'had such a great time with them, nearly missed the sunset!' Highly recommend booking them, such a lovely small group experience!

Fantastic Morning on the Water with David and James!My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time on the morning yacht cruise! From start to finish, David and James were phenomenal hosts. They were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and really went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great experience.The weather was beautiful, and the atmosphere was blissful! Even when the breeze picked up a little on the way back, they were on it! They were constantly checking in with everyone, making sure we were all good and enjoying ourselves..They even offered to take heaps of photos for us, capturing some lovely memories. Plus, the music playlist was pretty groovy!We couldn't recommend this cruise enough. Huge thanks to David and James for a truly memorable morning!

Amazing sail!!! Our Captain, James, and his son were attentive, professional and very knowledgeable. The weather was perfect and we sailed so close to Maggie island, with a little bit of commentary along the way! We sat at the front of the boat for an amazing surroundings view! James even offered to take some adorable pictures of us. The lunch offered beforehand at the yacht club was delicious and the staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this package! You will not be disappointed! 😊

Lovely sunset sail! It did get a bit rocky so if you get seasick at all it's worth a little pre trip medicine! Views stunning, crew friendly and helpful. Took my boyfriend for his birthday and he was delighted, thankyou!

Exceeded expectation. Highly personal experience aboard a lovely vessel with a kind, gentle and experienced crew. All safety guidelines met with the freedom to be seated where you felt most comfortable…in our case on the bow enjoying spectacular views of Townsville, Magnetic Island and Cape Cleveland as the sun set against the backdrop of other boats enjoying the water. A complimentary bubbly was the icing on the cake. Jimmy checked in regularly to ensure all guests were comfortable and gave ample warning of manouevering the boat or shifting the sails. Easy to book, well communicated and timings were prompt. Absolute value for money. Looking forward to going again!

Casual Fare was a small yacht with 4 guests, Cptn James was extremely patient with me and professional when a wind blew across quite suddenly. I love a bit of choppy water but James jumped about getting sails sorted and 1st mate Pete took the wheel. I felt quite safe, it wasn't the best weather with stronger winds but as it calmed and we had a glass or two of bubbles, Cptn James and 1st mate Pete gave us a sensational sunset cruise. I absolutely loved it, It is a *must do* sail with Casual Fare while in Townsville. Remember Casual Fare at Townsville Yacht Club Thankyou so very much James.

I got lost in Townsville and couldn't find the dock but Captain James was super, and 1st mate Pete gave a sensational sunset cruise, with group of 4 it was a wonderful up close experience with magnificent view of Magnetic Island, changing cloud patterns, glass of bubbles, I just loved it. Absolutely loved it. Yess sir reee.

Awesome way to spend a lovely sunset. Cosy sailboat with complimentary sparkling wine Tour around the harbour, viewing the busy port while taking in the fresh air and gentle breeze. Great service and highly recommended to do while in Townsville. Take the family, or a nice romantic little trip :)

Amazing tour, got to see the beautiful views while having a amazing chat and relaxing in a comfy atmosphere.Have been on bigger tours but I feel more comfortable with a smaller tour where you get treated well and looking after not treated like a number.
